Privacy
Updated October 9, 2026
plotform shows no ads, sells no data, and doesn't track or profile you. This page lists what we keep and who helps us run the site.
What we keep
- Your account: your email address, to send sign-in codes; your handle and display name; and when you confirmed you're 16 or older and accepted the terms.
- What you do on plotform: your watchlist, logs, ratings, posts and settings. They're public unless you make them private; private ones are yours alone, though private ratings still count anonymously in averages.
- On your device: a cookie that keeps you signed in, and logs and drafts not yet sent. No other cookies.
What we count
- What our own records hold, such as how many people have logged a title.
- Sign-in codes asked for, to stop abuse: per email address, stored as a one-way scrambled form rather than the address itself, and deleted after two days.
- Emails sent each day by each provider, as plain totals, kept 90 days, so we know before we run out.
We use no analytics services. If we ever add other anonymous counters, this page will list each one before it starts, and none will ever be tied to an account, address, cookie or device.
Who helps run plotform
- Supabase stores the database and handles sign-in, in the United States.
- Vercel hosts the site, in the United States.
- Resend and Brevo deliver sign-in codes, so they see your email address.
- Sentry receives error reports, without your account or address.
- Cloudflare runs our domain name and forwards mail sent to our contact address.
- TMDB serves posters and other images straight to your browser, so it sees your IP address as any website you load an image from does.
None of them may use your data for anything but running plotform.
How long we keep it
- As long as you have an account. If you delete it, it's hidden at once; after 14 days your identity, posts and history are erased, and your ratings stay only as anonymous numbers in averages.
- Backups are kept for up to 30 days, then deleted.
Your rights
You can export everything at any time, correct your details in settings, and delete your account. For anything else, or to complain, write to hello@plotform.app. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
