plotform is a home for films and series: you log what you watch and talk about it with people at the same point. By making an account you agree to these terms. They're short on purpose.

Your account

• You must be 16 or older.
• You sign in with a code sent to your email, so keep your email account safe. One account per person.
• Don't pretend to be someone else, including plotform or its staff.

What you post

• What you write stays yours. You let us store it, show it on plotform as your privacy settings allow, and include it in your exports.
• Talk about a title in the room for where you are in it, and don't spoil it anywhere else.
• No abuse, harassment, hate, spam, or anything illegal, and nothing you don't have the right to post.
• Anyone can report a post. We may remove a post that breaks these rules, and we'll tell you why. If you think we got it wrong, write to us and we'll look again.
• We may suspend accounts that keep breaking these rules or that exist only to game ratings.

Your data

• You can export everything, at any time, for free. See privacy for what we keep and why.
• You can delete your account. It's hidden at once and erased after 14 days unless you sign back in.

The service

• plotform is in beta. Features will change, and things will sometimes break. It's provided as it is, without promises beyond those the law requires.
• Logging, your library, rooms, privacy and export will always be free.
• If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll say so on plotform before the change applies.
• If plotform ever closes, we'll give 90 days' notice and keep export open throughout.
• Film and series data and images come from TMDB. plotform uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
